Introduction

His Design and Progressive Plan for Mankind

The information presented in this study/commentary paper I believe is essential knowledge and understanding needed by the peoples of the United States of America and Great Britain. America is completing a turning point in her history that will bring consequences beyond the wildest imaginations of her peoples and leaders.

God, who created all things, has a grand plan for mankind. He has given humans 6,000 years to make decisions and choices. Learning to make wise and Godly choices requires experience and time. The setup and operation of this plan revolves around our ancient Biblical ancestors and correctly identifying those peoples today.

The primary book for this paper is the Bible. For within its pages we will find the history of the American and English peoples, their current position in time and their future. It is to be a glorious future of peace, prosperity and greatness. But first, some difficult and important lessons must be learned.

Many believe there is a God and He cares for us. But the truth is, the vast majority of our peoples have forgotten and ignore the true God of Bible history.

We Americans and the British people do not believe His inspired, written Word. We do not understand His grand plan and motives. We will not obey and we will not change our ways. Rather, we have taken the humanistic approach to life. The vast majority believe God is unconcerned and inactive in the affairs of mankind. Thus, men must seek solutions and work matters out for themselves. We are not a God fearing, truth seeking, law loving, commandment keeping people. True, here and there scattered among our population, are a few, but not nearly enough to hold back God’s righteous judgments.

The ability to judge between good and evil, right and wrong, to render fair and just decisions is becoming almost extinct. Our nation is now set on a foundation of greed, selfishness, self righteousness and contempt of our fellow man. Our national Christian religion and its leadership have failed the American people. We really no longer have an identity.

I have written these things out of concern and hope. My desire is to give a base of knowledge and understanding to those who sense that within America and England, something is wrong and we are heading into disaster.

This writing will require some devoted time. Whatever your opinion may be, you have received to the best of the writer’s ability, what he believes are the true facts and understanding of America’s origins, her immediate future and final destination. The purpose is not to convert or in some manner insist on a change in the reader’s mind. The purpose is to present important information and knowledge and a certain measure of understanding for the reader’s consideration.

Let Us Begin

The Lord has an exact and specific plan for mankind. It is a 7000 year plan. It is complex, orderly and reasonable. At this site are several study papers that detail and explain this grand undertaking.

These articles/commentaries will also fill in many important details concerning the investigation at hand. This is a unique study. Very few students of the Bible, including scholars, have any or perhaps very little knowledge about what is to be presented in this study.

Going back about 150 years or so, the true history and identity of America and Britain were fairly well-known in certain religious circles of learning. The subject of identifying the Biblical ancestors of the American and British peoples had a limited promotion in England from about 1870 to the years leading to World War I. The kings and queens of England, including Queen Elizabeth and her family, trace the origins of the throne she now sits on, back to King David of Israel. The royal family is aware of the ancient beginnings of their country.

In America, beginning in the 1920’s, certain Sabbath (Saturday) keeping groups taught America in Bible prophecy. This work had a small following. The 1960’s and 1970’s was their height of influence. From that time on, it has waned a good deal. Still there are some church organizations scattered about, who accept this teaching and promote it to a limited degree. The internet has a wealth of information provided by various organizations and individuals who support the idea of American-British Israelism as it is commonly called by some.

This writer has a certain measure of knowledge and understanding. He will do his best to bring forth this information in an organized, understandable and readable manner. However, there are a number of very learned and skilled writers with a great deal of knowledge on these matters. They can provide necessary and important details of Jacob/Israel’s movements to the lands of final settlement as they are found in our time. What is being provided here is an outline.

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

The beginning of this amazing story goes back to the most ancient of times, not too many years after the flood. The Biblical personalities Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are the genesis starting point for American and English history. Abraham is a man God knew and had an ongoing relationship with. God proved Abraham and then made a binding covenant agreement with him. This was because of Abraham’s obedience and Godly character. The blessings and promises would be applied on down through history.

If the nations and peoples refused to obey, there would be judgment and punishment that would lead to true repentance and restoration. God said to Abram “… I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and the one who curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3) Abram obeyed God and for this, God promised to bless Abram’s descendants and make them a mighty nation. Abraham’s son Isaac carries on in the tradition of his father. His wife Rebekah, received a blessing and prophecy as to her unique place in history (Genesis 24:60).

God appears to Isaac and in Genesis 26:3-5 confirms the promises as given to Abraham, the promises of blessings are now binding as a matter of fact for Isaac.

The beginning fulfillment of these promises is to be found in the sons of Jacob, different tribes but considered by God to be one. This is a promise of national greatness for a selected people. Also, there is a spiritual blessing. All the world will be blessed through the promised Messiah who would descend from Abraham.

In Genesis 17:1-7, the promises are much more inclusive. God concluded and makes all His words to Abraham a firm assurance through an everlasting and unconditional covenant. At this time, God changes Abram’s name to Abraham, meaning father of a multitude. God gives further assurance to Abraham in Genesis 22:15-18. Abraham’s descendants were to be innumerable. Many Christian teachers and the Jews themselves, claim these words as promises for only the Jewish people. The fact of the matter is Judah was one of the sons of Jacob. They alone do not fulfill these promises. Today in all the world, there are only about 15 million Jews, 5 million or so in what is called the State of Israel. Their role in history has been and is important for our day and into the future.
This matter will be addressed in detail later.

Genesis 25:29-34 is the story of how Esau sold his birthright for bread and a bowl of stew to Jacob. A little later Jacob tricks his father Isaac and receives the promises of greatness and blessings that were to be Esau’s (Genesis 27:30-36). Genesis 27:28-29 are the specific promises as given to Jacob. The blessings and promises given to Abraham and Isaac now become the property of Jacob.

Even though the methods are questionable, it was God’s original intent for Jacob to be the recipient of the birthright and promises. So He let the matter stand in Jacob’s favor. In a fit of rage, jealousy and hatred, Esau threatens Jacob’s life. Isaac sends Jacob away from Esau’s hostility, to the land of Padan-Aram, home area for Laban, Jacob’s Uncle, the father of Rebekah. Again in Genesis 28:3 Isaac grants Jacob a blessing. Saying, “May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and numerous, that you may become a company of peoples.” As Jacob makes his way to PadanAram, he comes to rest at a place called Bethel, meaning “House of God.” That night as he slept, he dreamed that he viewed a ladder connecting from earth to heaven (Genesis 28:10-15). The promises to Jacob are confirmed.

The second reason for Jacob’s journey was to secure a wife from among his own people. His wives, Rachael and Leah were the daughters of Laban. He eventually had 12 sons. It was now time to leave and return home. On his return, he was to meet with Esau. The meeting ended well. The central and most important part of this journey is recorded in Genesis 32:24-28. Jacob wrestles with a man (an angel, probably the one we know as Jesus Christ). He is blessed and his name is now changed to Israel, meaning “one who prevails with God.”

Joseph and His Sons

This is the real beginning for the identity of the American and other English speaking peoples. Jacob (Israel) had twelve sons. His favorite was Joseph. Many know the story. Because of jealousy, his brothers planned to murder him. Reuben, the firstborn, persuaded them to sell Joseph to a passing caravan of traders. In time Joseph was sold to a high ranking Egyptian official.

After some years of difficulties, Joseph rose to be the second ruler over Egypt. He was given an Egyptian wife who bore him two sons; Ephraim and Manasseh. In Hebrew, Ephraim means “double fruit.” Ephraim was to inherit the blessings of the first born. Israel, when he blessed the boys, said his name would be named on them. The significance of this will be made clear as we move on. As an aside, the boys are also to bear the name of Jacob’s father, Isaac. The English are known in history as the Anglo-Saxons. A major group of Israelites (Ephraim and Manasseh) moved across Northern and Western Europe from the Black Sea and Caspian Sea area. This was the general area of captivity when taken by the Assyrians from their home lands in 721-718 BC. “Saxons” are the “sons” of Tsask or “Tsaak’s sons.” That is in English, Isaac’s sons.

In Verse 19 of Genesis 48, Jacob says of Manasseh, “He also shall become a people and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother Ephraim shall be greater than he and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.” “Multitude of nations” can also be translated “A multitude of states.” Ephraim today is the United States, composed of fifty sovereign and individual states and meet the prophetic promise. Each “state” has it’s own constitution, government and justice system. All fifty are united in purpose, common good and shared military and is the most powerful “single nation” of unity, common purpose and cooperation.

Historians who study these matters believe the lost tribes of ancient Israel have been located and are identified with many of the democracies of North and Western Europe. The great tribe of Joseph through his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh, are the English speaking nations of the world. One sign is their common language. So there is no misunderstanding, many believe Manasseh is to be identified with America and Ephraim is Great Britain. This writer believes the evidence of scripture and historical proofs point to America as Ephraim and Great Britain as Manasseh. This point will be more thoroughly addressed as we continue. Genesis 48 contains the blessings given to Ephraim and Manasseh by Israel.

The Sons of Jacob in the World Today

Genesis 49 lists Jacob’s sons and certain characteristics which identify each as a unique people. The following is what many historians consider to be the final areas of habitation for the sons of Jacob.

Reuben, France, the first born; unstable as water, witnessed by their government and preoccupation with sex. Dignified, the French manner. Excellence of power as seen in Napoleon.
Simeon, Scattered throughout the tribes. Found in large numbers among the Scots and Irish.
Levi, Scattered among the tribes; Scotland, Ireland, Wales. Have a tendency to be highly educated. Likely to be religious leaders, teachers, musicians and singers. It is believed the Welch are mostly of Levite stock.
Judah, Scattered throughout Europe and America. The nation/state of Israel is considered to be the Jewish homeland and many have migrated to this country from Western and Central European and Eastern European countries. Perez and Zerah are sons of Judah. From these lines come kings and royalty. Their bloodlines are found today in most European royalty. The English monarchy trace their lineage to King David, a Jew.
Issachar, Engineers and pyramid builders, Job was of the tribe of Issachar, contemporary to Joseph. Job either built the Great Pyramid or possibly completed what had begun before the flood. Finland is considered to be Issachar today.
Zebulin, Netherlands (Holland). Merchants, traders, printers/calligraphers. Amsterdam is Europe’s largest port of entry for goods. The early emblem for Zebulin is a ship.
Dan, Ireland and Denmark, Mariner, adventurers and colonists. Their emblem was a serpent. A snake, as it wiggles across the ground, especially sand, leaves a distinct mark or trail. So it is as Dan moved across Europe to their final location marked the way by naming locations and rivers they were in contact with. Den, Don, Dun and so on from the root Hebrew word Dan.
Gad, Switzerland, For many centuries this small country has maintained her independence and neutrality in war. Perhaps in the end time all this will be lost, but at some later point restored.
Asher, Belgium/Luxembourg, Their emblem is a covered goblet, perhaps indicating wealth and plenty.
Naphtali, Sweden, The stag with its regal beauty and elegance is Sweden’s emblem.
Benjamin, Norway – Iceland, The Vikings of old who visited the North American continent before Columbus. Known as mariners, traders and merchants, also notorious raiders of their neighbors. The wolf is their emblem.
Joseph, His two sons Ephraim and Manasseh, Found today as America and Great Britain. Verse 22 describes the blessings of prosperity and plenty covering the two nations. Their enemies, many and dangerous were not able to overcome. It was Britain who first kept the world safe. Then later with WWI, it was America who exercised her God ordained economic and military power that preserved freedom for the world. WWII established America as the greatest of nations and she kept the Western world free from dictators and madmen. But as the prophets wrote, a time would come that our peoples, by their sins, would break the covenant and offend God and be humbled.

Brief History From Egypt to Mt. Sinai

In time, the Israelites after Joseph, became very numerous and a perceived threat to Egypt. The Pharaoh, his advisers and generals determined in order to control these people, they should be put into bondage.

God was preparing and working with the man Moses. About the year 1490 BC God moved Moses to deliver the descendants of Jacob, now a nation of several million, from slavery to a land of promise, freedom and plenty. For the 40 years of the exodus, the LORD God was directly involved with the nation. The people had witnessed His many miracles on their behalf – the 10 plagues, the Red Sea crossing and the total destruction of Pharaoh’s army, still Israel would not believe, trust and obey.

Only a short time into their journey, the people clamored for water and meat. Many were ready to return to Egypt. Soon the people caused Aaron to make a golden calf that they should worship, even as they had done in Egypt for many years. God punished and forgave their transgression. However, the golden calf incident was a turning point in how God would be dealing with Israel. God’s promise and covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was firm. The course for Israel was set and all would be accomplished as promised and planned. Please read Exodus 15:22 through 17:7.

God Offers a Covenant and Israel Accepts

From Mt. Sinai God calls Moses and instructs him as to what he is to tell and instruct the Israelites. He further explains His concern for them witnessed by the fact that He personally brought them out, as a nation, on eagle wings. Adult eagles, in order to teach their young to fly, kick them out of the nest. As he falls, the young eaglet flaps his wings and is flying. However, should one have problems, an adult bird swoops under and catches the youngster on his back. This is guaranteed protection and safety in a dangerous situation.

In Exodus 19:5-6 God goes immediately to the point of the matter; which is, if they will obey His voice and all that He speaks and not question or try to reason why; if they will keep His covenant and all that pertains to it; the instruction of the law, then they shall be a special people to the LORD. They will be to God as a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, separate and special above all others. Their example of submission and obedience to the one true God, will be an example to the nations. Verse 7 tells us Israel accepts the covenant.

The Patriarch & Mosaic Covenants

Upon demonstrated obedience and faith (trust) through trials and tests God established an unconditional covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God now is ready to deliver and keep His promises as guaranteed to their children, now a large mass of peoples; a nation.

The covenant made at Mt. Sinai between God and Israel is conditional; blessings for obedience and conformity to the commandments and law, curses and woes for failing to maintain the agreement. The covenant and it’s requirements stand for all time. In our time, the end of man’s allotted 6000 years of struggle to get it right, God will soon bring righteous judgment and justice upon Ephraim, Manasseh and all nations.

The English speaking peoples have trampled the Bible, the words of the covenant and all that pertains into the dust of the earth. We have forgotten our great God and Benefactor. For this and all our sins, we as His people will be punished. Still and in spite of what He must do, He loves His chosen people. Israel will again be restored, and to a better condition than before.

All covenants that God makes individually and nationally are based on believing, acceptance and obedience. Mankind of himself is not able to keep the commandments, laws, statutes and judgments that are his responsibilities, with his whole heart and mind. God is most willing to give an earnest of His Spirit, the Helper, upon true repentance. In the new order, as ruled by Christ, God’s Spirit will be available to all who desire. It will be common as the waters of the seas, lakes and rivers.

The Mosaic Covenant

The Mosaic (God’s) covenant governs three areas of life.

The ten commandments govern our personal lives, particularly as related to God. The first four are spoke in application of how to honor and worship the LORD God. The remaining six deal with man’s responsibilities to his fellow being. These two things are tied together by the very specific and all encompassing teaching of Jesus Christ. Man is to love God with all his heart and might and in such a manner, he must love his neighbor (all men) as himself. These two things are the necessary and foundational requirements for an acceptable and satisfying relationship with God.
The laws, statutes and judgments are the more specific application of the letter and spirit of the ten commandments. All these things are central for an orderly, righteous and just society.
The ordinances which govern religious life, such as the Sabbath, holy days, the three Feast seasons and sacrifices (as they will be in the new world order), are given so that all peoples and nations will come to understand God’s plan for all mankind and how to honor, approach and worship Him as their one true LORD God.

Blessings and Curses

Deuteronomy 28 through 30
I have little to comment about these chapters. Moses’ words are complete and clear in themselves. I do suggest that these three chapters be read at least two times. Everything written is inspired scripture, true and exact. These are Moses’ final words to Israel of encouragement, correction, admonishment and blessings for obedience. Israel is now about to receive the promises. To remain in good standing with God, they must heed these words. Everything written in these closing chapters of Deuteronomy have application down through history for Israel’s descendants and their specific application in this end time for America and Britain.

This paper is a short introduction, an outline, containing important and little considered or understood information concerning America and Britain, their true histories and as they will be found in the end time years – our time now. For many, this study paper will bring forth new and different material, which establishes important and basic evidence, facts, knowledge and understanding of the true history and identities of the American and English peoples. There are many excellent books which document clearly what is presented in this paper. At the end of this work, there will be provided numerous sources of conformational and historical information.

This study paper focuses on the historical and prophetic aspects of America and Great Britain. Most scholarly works are for identifying these peoples and their origins. This writer along with a few others believe understanding the Old Testament prophets, Jesus Christ and the Apostles is most important if one is to truly appreciate the great scope of God’s plan.

King David and the Dividing of a United Israel

The Israelites cross over the Jordan River, the tribes move out to their assigned areas, they settle in, prosper and grow in numbers. But as is the nature of these peoples, they go into idolatry and other sins. They displease God. In their distress, they call out to God and He hears. During this period of several hundred years, God provided as their helpers, judges. When the people repented, God used these judges to deliver them from their enemies. Some time around 1000 BC, the people wanted a king like their neighbors. God appointed to them a Benjamite named Saul. Saul, in time, became lifted up with pride and his heart was not right with God. God next chose David. Here was a man after His heart – he did what pleased God.

A careful reading of scripture records that from the beginning, Judah and Israel were distinct peoples. In Deuteronomy 33:7, Moses prayed, “Hear Lord, the voice of Judah and bring him unto his people.” This is a prophecy for the end time. When upon the return of Christ, Judah and Israel (the other 11 tribes) will be united as one. The Psalmist wrote, “When Israel (Jacob) went out of Egypt, Judah was His sanctuary and Israel His dominion” ….Psalm 114:1-2. When David was made king after the fall of Saul, we read, “And the men of Judah came and there anointed David, king over the house of Judah.” (2 Samuel 2:4) Judah was one of the twelve. A little later, (7 years later) we read in 2 Samuel 5:1-5 that David is made king over Israel, the other eleven tribes or houses, (2 Samuel 5:1-5). The house of Judah separate for purpose and the house of Israel (11 tribes) separate in purpose, but at this point considered united. From Judah was to come kings and rulers (also the Messiah) over many nations, down through history. From Israel, more exact, Ephraim and Manasseh, would come a great peoples keeping stability and a relative peace in the world, especially from the time of the Protestant Reformation.

Judah and Israel Separate

When King Solomon, son of David died, his son Rehoboam succeeded him. Some days before his coronation, certain of the leaders of Israel came to Rehoboam requesting relief from the heavy burdens of Solomon. The head of this group, speaking for Israel, was Jeroboam who during King Solomon’s reign, had charge of the house of Joseph – that is, Ephraim and Manasseh. Rehoboam refused the request. Those who sided with Rehoboam were Judah, Benjamin, and Levite. The other tribes separated themselves. These tribes, from this point became known as the Northern Kingdom of Israel, distinct from the Southern area where Judah and Benjamin lived.

The 12th chapter of 1 Kings explains in detail the causes of the split and the consequences for both sides. So it was at this time the house of Israel separated from the house of Judah and repudiated the rulership of the throne of David. Two nations came into being; the Northern Kingdom of Israel, ten tribes, with its capital in Samaria. Judah, along with Benjamin formed the Southern Kingdom.

Also, it appears many of the Levites and the priesthood aligned with Judah. Their capital was the city of Jerusalem. Much of the Northern Kingdom in later history, became known as Anglo-Saxons, Celtics and kindred peoples. Ephraim and Manasseh make up the core of the Anglo-Saxons. These peoples settled in the British Isles. Ephraim began separating from the others and in the 1600’s and early 1700’s, began the beginnings of America. The Bible gives a history of the two separate and distinct peoples.

The books of Kings and Chronicles are often confused and misunderstood. The two books are the records of two nations. The book of Kings is mainly the historical record concerning Israel and Chronicles is primarily the history of Judah. Occasionally, in each book, there will be mention made of the other.

The House of David

For the last 1,000 or so years, we find the 10 tribes settled into West and Northwestern Europe. The sons of Joseph, whom Jacob took as his own, we find in the British Isles (Manasseh) and the new world America (Ephraim). The Jewish people, although never large in numbers, were given several important responsibilities, such as protecting and preserving scripture, what is known as the Old Testament. The Jews are the people from which the Messiah would come. David is a Jew and from him is found a direct lineage to Christ.

There is a second promise made to David; that his royal throne and house should be established forever in Israel. This prophecy raises the question – where is the throne of David? It was about 1000 BC that this prophecy was given. 300 years or so later (721-718 BC), the ten tribes go into Assyrian captivity and are removed from their lands and become lost in history. Some 150 years later, Judah also goes into captivity. The people are relocated to Babylon for their sins. Seventy years later, as prophesied, about 515 BC, 70,000 Jews are released and return to their home lands, eventually rebuilding Jerusalem and the temple, also spreading out into the countryside establishing villages and towns. Not all Jews returned. Many settled throughout Europe and over into what is now known as Turkey and surrounding areas. The Jews were common in Greece, Rome and the Mediterranean world.

It would seem that David’s throne is gone and the promise broken. Let us look at Psalm 89:35-37. Here in these verses, God confirms His promise given to David. The whole of Chapter 89 is profitable reading. God’s promise stands. Let us pick up the story with the prophet Jeremiah. Zedekiah was the last Davidic king. His Assyrian captors killed all his sons before him and then blinded him. However, one and most likely two of Zedekiah’s daughters survived and came under Jeremiah’s care and protection. With this came a God given directive.

Jeremiah 1:10 records that a part of his mission and work was to build and plant. This is a reference to securing the continuation of the Davidic throne. From Egypt, Jeremiah and the King’s daughters went to Ireland. Today there is to be seen on the four corners of Dublin, a statue of Jeremiah the prophet. The Island is full of Jeremiahs and Jerrys. Judah, son of Jacob, had two sons; Zarah and Pharez. David was of the line of Pharaz. In the course of time, some years before the Exodus, the descendants of Zarah settle in parts of Europe and the British Isles. Tamar Telphi, Zedekiah’s daughter, married into the ruling family. Thus a breach was healed. David’s bloodline is now secure for the future. The promise to David was now complete and continues on to this day in the form of the Royal House of Windsor.

A Brief History of Israel’s Migrations From Captivity

There are many books and writings which present evidence, facts and proofs which have come down through the ages, that leave no question or doubt as to Israel’s history from their captivity to the end of their migrations and where they are to be found today. What is presented here is a brief outline or summary of sorts, to explain in relatively few words, the movement of Israel in order to properly identify these peoples in our modern world. Further, the purpose is to introduce and help explain a truth, little known to the American and English peoples. With understanding of history comes understanding of Biblical prophecy for this end time. The study, close examination of this matter is revealing, exciting and highly profitable. At the end of this writing is a list of books and study aids that will provide comprehensive and chronologically accurate details.

The bulk of the ten tribes were taken into the Assyrian Empire, which was West and South of the Caspian Sea. Here they were known as the people of Guta. Assyria’s ancient name was Guta. However, the two most common names attached to the ten tribes, especially Ephraim and Manasseh were Scythians and Parthians. About 100 years after Israel’s transport to Assyria, the lands of Assyria and Babylon were in turmoil and upset. War was all about the two nations. The Babylonians finally mustered a major attack on Assyria.

The Scythians were attacking from the North and West, and the Babylonians from the South and East. The main target was Nineveh, the capital of Assyria. The door of opportunity was now opened for Israel and they began to move by land, taking them North and West, away from the two warring nations. Their primary route was through the Caucasus Mountains. To this day, there is a pass called the “Gate of Israel.” What an amazing turn of events; the whole movement of Israel being directed by God’s purpose and timing.

England Stabilizes and Begins to Take an Important Place Among the Nations. America is Settled and Grows Rapidly in Population and Importance. She Quickly Obtains National Greatness as Promised and Unequaled in History

Centuries before, going back to the time of the Exodus, small groups of Israelites, mainly of Joseph’s line and of the tribe of Dan, came to the islands and Northwestern Europe by sea. The vast majority of the ten tribes moved slowly across Europe to their final destinations of promise, sometimes peacefully and at other times by force. Isaiah 41:1 “Keep silence before me O coast lands/islands; and let the people renew their strength.” The Hebrew suggests a large mass of land with long coastlines and islands which are surrounded by the sea. The people grew in numbers, prized education and religious cooperation, limited in certain ways.

Historians wrote about the Norman conquest and the exploits of William the Conqueror in 1066 AD. Students of scripture who study these matters know that the Normans were but a long separated part of Israel, the sons of Joseph, demanding entrance into their appointed land. At last the transition of Ephraim and Manasseh to the isles was completed. They became united and each contributed their elements to the “national character.” It should be mentioned, their escape from the Assyrians (today large parts of modern day Germany) to their arrival in the islands and then into America, these peoples always considered themselves as God’s people, often referring to themselves as Israel and being lead by God.

The migration was for the most part complete. The other sons (tribes) established themselves in most of France, certain areas of Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland and Finland. Some of the Levites settled in the isles and became known as the Welch and to this day, speak a dialect of the Hebrew language. So it was that Jacob’s sons lost their identity and language and became lost in history. Even though the evidence is overwhelming, the Christianity of history and of our time, refuses to deal and acknowledge the truth. On the other hand, God had a designed purpose for this blindness. Today there are some (a very small group), who accept the proofs and facts of history. A blessing that comes with this understanding is a credible appreciation for the end time prophecies of scripture.

The Puritans and certain others tired of war, persecution and the inability to live Godly lives, departed England, determined to find a better place for themselves and their children. In the year 1620 the Puritans, known also as Pilgrims, landed in the new world. Many others would soon follow, seeking religious freedom, peace and opportunity for prosperity. From this time on, these men of Israel, began to venture forth and claim the promises made to the fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and confirmed by the prophets.

These two nations, America and Great Britain, won control of the seas and sea gates. The commonwealth was coming together. Many nations were made to stop warring and came under English government and authority, giving peace, stability and a new measure of prosperity. Great Britain was coming into her promised greatness. America, very soon after the Revolutionary War with England, began to grow and prosper. She was destined to become the greatest of all nations, in all of history; a God fearing people for many years.

Unfortunately, the Revolutionary War was made necessary because of the hardness of men’s hearts. God desired a peaceful split. Manasseh, (English) and Ephraim, (America), recognize they are brothers, who at times could not get along. As it is, their common heritage and language promoted cooperation which provided blessings and peace, not only for themselves, but many other peoples and nations. Our founding fathers, after fasting and much prayer, established our nation with its republic form of government. Men such as Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Henry, Adams and others sought God’s presence in the foundation of the republic of the United States of America. God, by means of Lincoln, preserved the union. Her greatness as a united people would not be denied.

For many years, up to World War I, it was the English who protected religious freedom, individual and national responsibilities under the rule of just law. After World War I, America was recognized as the supreme power and protector of freedom and Christian values. In these later years, as prophesied, because of our individual and national sins, we as a people are rapidly declining because of our wholesale rejection of God and His instruction of the law as set forth in scriptures.

After America and England have learned through the punishment of trial and tribulation, to love and submit to God and His righteous and just laws, He will restore our peoples and make them greater than before. It will be in this new world order that others will desire to know the God of America and England so that they too may worship Him and be blessed.

Some Evidence and Proof of America’s Biblical Identity

What has been set forth to this point is a story flow of the true history and greatness of the American and English peoples. Using the Bible as source material, this history began with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Joseph, Jacob/Israel’s son, had two sons; Ephraim and Manasseh. The story continued on to the times of Israel and Judah’s captivities. These peoples were transported from the then God given ancestral homelands to a land many hundreds of miles North.

Next addressed were Israel’s migrations across Europe, finally ending with the brothers Ephraim and Manasseh settling into the British Isles. The next major move was Ephraim breaking away and coming to the new world, the early beginnings of the United States of America.

Let us look at the great promise. Jacob said Manasseh would also be great. He goes on to state, “Truly his younger brother shall be greater and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations” (states or groups). (Genesis 48:19) The word nation as used here and as conveyed by the Hebrew has the sense of meaning massing, large group and many states (groups) within one.

The British commonwealth was never a multitude of nations. It did include, under British rule, a commonwealth of nations subject to the throne of England. The United States of America is a multitude of states, a grouping of like minded peoples which form a united states, a singular nation. So it is America today consists of individual states, each with it’s own constitutional form of government – legislative, judicial and executive branches. The citizens of the states are independent, but loyal to and under the authority of a national republic constitutional government.

Ephraim, America, was to be “doubly fruited.” In 1784 the United States had a population around 3,250,000. Today our national population is over 300,000,000. During this period of time, Britain has grown from 15,000,000 to about 65,000,000. Our first flag contained 13 stars in a circle on a blue field, together with red and white stripes. This first American flag was adopted by Congress on June 14, 1777. Consider Jacob/Israel counted as his own thirteen sons, including Ephraim and Manasseh. Red, white and blue are the colors of ancient Israel; red for sacrifice and redemption, white for purity and blue represents water and the sky, the universe and identifying the one true LORD God as Creator and Sustainer of everything. These three colors are the colors of Israel’s tabernacle and temple.

The great seal of America: God brought Israel out of Egypt on “eagles wings” (Exodus 19:4). The eagle symbolizes God’s deliverance and protection. In one claw the eagle is pictured grasping a bundle of thirteen arrows. Also pictured being held is an olive branch with thirteen leaves. The cloud above the eagle’s head contains thirteen stars, symbolic of Israel’s thirteen sons. The thirteen arrows represent Ephraim, (America) the thirteenth tribe. Symbolized in the arrows is American readiness to fight, go to war, its willingness to defend and safeguard liberty, freedom and truth for herself and as necessary for others. The inscription “E Pluribus Unum” means in many one. 13 letters can be counted. The shield counts 13 stripes, representing the 13 original colonies. Some may reason all this is by man’s inspiration and design. I think not – but rather a sign by God for His people in their time of prophesied greatness.

One of the great proofs that Great Britain is Manasseh is the sign of the unicorn. Moses compared the tribe of Joseph to a bull and unicorn. The Jewish Midrash writings explain the unicorn was represented on the standard of Manasseh. On Ephraim’s standard was the sign of the bull. The unicorn is always pictured as a horse with a prominent horn on its forehead. The ancient unicorn emblem is found today on the royal coat of arms of Great Britain. The royal coat of arms of Scotland has two unicorns. In Jeremiah 31:9 God said, “Ephraim is my first born.” Moses foretold “Joseph would be like a first born bull.” (Deuteronomy 33:17) It has been in our modern times, beginning of the 20th century, that the horn (power) of Ephraim (America) “pushed” peoples to the ends of the earth. It is the United States who, in the great wars of the 20th century, defeated the armies of aggression and permitted freedom to prevail and expand.

America – A Brief History and As She is Today

In America three men were given certain primary responsibilities in setting, preserving and establishing America’s greatness. These duties fell upon George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

Perhaps the greatest of these is George Washington. Washington was in his early twenties and serving as an English officer in the French Indian War. He should have been shot dead ten times over. Even though his garments showed signs of bullet holes, his flesh was not touched. He acknowledged God as his savior in war.

As General of the continental armies during the American Revolutionary war, Washington gained victory over a far superior British force. As President he served with wisdom and humility. He established the pattern and course that would quickly bring the nation to greatness. By God’s blessing, our nation rapidly grew in population and wealth. Soon her borders were from sea to sea. This period of time was also a high point in our national character and humility. We were a God fearing, respecting and believing people. There were times of trouble, such as the great Civil War. Abraham Lincoln preserved the union.

After this war of correction and chastisement, the nation continued to expand and her wealth and prosperity multiplied as her agriculture and manufacturing became the marvel of the world. By the beginning of the 20th century, America was the principal nation of the world, respected and feared. Teddy Roosevelt established military greatness and kept in check certain domestic matters. World War I took its toll on the British Empire. It started to recede as a great world power. The end of World War II left Britain a struggling power eventually fading to a shadow of her former glory. For several hundred years, she was God’s power of stability and purpose for the world.

With the conclusion of World War I, America stood exalted. At the finish of World War II, America was the unquestioned leader of the world. America is God’s battle helmet. Her military and industrial might secured the world. From the beginning America has always had a certain element of people who denied God as the source of her blessings and greatness. These individuals and groups through her history, have worked to undermine her form of government. They see themselves as superior and more understanding of how social and economic fairness should be established for all. These people work to undermine our legally established form of government.

In the United States today, socialism is being embraced as a “solution” to America’s problems. It should be understood any form of socialism, no matter how benign it may at first appear, is a form of Communism in the making. This godless system of humanistic reasoning is poisoning our people, from the lowest to the highest. We are a crumbling and wasting nation.

The real breakdown is to be found in a floundering Christianity, beginning to take deeper roots after World War II. There are many reasons, but primarily the theological centers and seminaries made issues with basic Biblical truth. The Bible was watered down. It was said to be flawed, and that men inspired of themselves, penned most of scripture. Biblical values, especially the Old Testament were questioned. Today many religious leaders and ministers consider the words of Jesus as suspect and questionable for a modern society. A new love is being taught that now there is no accountability and responsibility except to self.

In the mid sixties, the “God is Dead” movement set the nation totally adrift from the God of truth, righteousness, justice, mercy and love. The underlying thinking goes something like this: “God, whoever He may be, is an unconcerned God, for all things continue as they have from the beginning. Mankind is responsible for making his way in this world. It is his duty to set the standards.”

So it is, man now has a “god of his own imagination” humanistic reasoning apart from a superior being. Main line Christianity watered down and reasoned away the truths of scripture. More and more sin, as the Bible defines and explains it, cannot be identified and so is not taught. Right and wrong have now been replaced with “Who are we to judge others?”

Thus it is, our nation began its landslide into the pit of ignorance and depravity, unparalleled by any peoples in history. We are no longer a Christian people and so stated by many leaders and common folk. As the prophets wrote, we give a form of lip service to God, but we as a people no longer seek to learn and obey His good and just laws; laws that if honored and kept, would keep this nation in good standing with its Creator. The basic principles of love God and love neighbor, have been ripped away and discarded to the junk heap of useless values. America has become a nation of peoples who care not for anything but personal gratification, and gain.

Our foundational system; politics, business, justice, education and social structures, along with our religious behavior, are infected with gross contempt for God, His Holy Word and any form of true righteousness to Him and our neighbors. As individuals and groups, others are seen as things to be manipulated and taken advantage of.

Troubling Times Ahead – But Soon A Glorious Future

The years directly ahead are going to be quite difficult for not only America, but all mankind. We, America and England, in this end time, have failed to acknowledge God as our great benefactor, protector and author of the many blessings which established America as the greatest nation in world history. We were to be a light to others, fueled by our love for God and His holy instructions of behavior towards Him and our neighbors. The commandments, laws and statutes as given to Moses for the ancient nation of Israel, are also intended for us today.

The time of chastisement and correction will not be long. Jesus Christ will soon return and this time as King and Ruler over all nations. He will bring universal peace. All, especially America, England and Judah will rapidly multiply and soon come to a greatness surpassing what they experienced before. The nations will marvel and say, “This great God you worship, tell us of His ways so that we may come to know Him, worship Him and be greatly blessed.”

Further Consideration for Ephraim, Manasseh and Judah

The nation, state of Israel, as found today in the Middle East, whose capital is Jerusalem, is a country populated by about five million Jews. As long as Jewish blood is found and claimed in the ancestral line, these individuals can claim themselves a Jew. The common opinion held by much of today’s Christianity is the other tribes, sons of Jacob, are scattered throughout the world, unidentified and lost to history. In the process of time, many of these peoples, through the years, found their way to their original home land (Palestine).

They settled among the people and married. Historians say this is a good probability, but on a very limited basis. Many Jewish families and individuals have immigrated to the state of Israel since its 1947-48 establishment as a recognized nation. When the prophets and writers of the Old and New Testaments write of the Jews of their time and history, they are writing of a group of peoples inclusive of Judah, Benjamin and some Levites. Today there are two classes of peoples known as Jews, but recognized as one specific group of peoples. The larger part of the Jewish race is of one blood. However, there is a sizable minority of mixed blood Jews today.

Let us consider the name Jacob. Jacob was the son of Isaac. He had 12 sons. Joseph was his father’s favorite. Joseph had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Jacob blesses the two boys and claims them as his own by placing his name Israel on them. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, meaning “one who prevails with God.” Jacob, most often, when used in the prophetic writings, is a reference to all his sons.

Israel is the most common name found in scripture and its primary purpose, as used, is to highlight or point to Ephraim and Manasseh. On occasion, Israel may mean all the sons. Throughout the Old Testament writings, Joseph’s name appears at times and when seen, the purpose is to point to his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh and their place in Biblical history and prophecy and the end times. When the name Ephraim appears, it is a specific name used to identify the American people of relatively recent history and as found today – the United States of America. Manasseh are the English speaking peoples as found in the Isles, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.

As one becomes more familiar and comfortable with scriptures and Biblical names, the easier it is to connect important prophetic writings to end time America and Great Britain and the Jews today as found in Israel. It will take some time and effort, but in time, it becomes most reasonable to see this is the truth of the matter concerning America and England.

This presentation is not complete in the sense that all that can be written has been done so. Rather, the author has introduced, for many, a new and somewhat complex subject concerning the true history of America and Britain and their standing with God today and promising future.

Psalms 60 and 108 – Prayer for difficult times. Ephraim is my helmet; the role of America in the world since 1917. Today she is sick and weak, no knowledge and fear of the Lord.
Isaiah 11 – Rule of King David. Israel regathered. Land full of the knowledge of God.
Isaiah 49 – A unique prophecy concerning Israel. The one speaking here is the Lord’s holy one, we recognize and know as Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 59 – The condition of mankind, as he is today.
Isaiah 66 – Final judgment and glorious restoration. Israel a blessing to all nations. The greatness of the one true Lord God.
Jeremiah 2 – Israel accused of apostasy. How Israel and Ephraim will be in the end time. God’s displeasure and judgments.

A Prophetic Vision Attributed to George Washington

Note: The following was originally published by Wesley Bradshaw in the National Review, Vol. 4, No. 12, December 1880 (and handed down to me by my grandmother).

The last time I ever saw Anthony Sherman was on July 4, 1859, in Independence Square. He was then 99 years old, and becoming very feeble. But though so old, his dimming eyes rekindled as he gazed upon Independence Hall, which he came to visit once more.

“Let us go into the hall,” he said. “I want to tell you an incident of Washington’s life – one which no one alive knows except myself; and, if you live, you will before long see it verified.

“From the opening of the Revolution we experienced all phases of fortune, now good and now ill; one time victorious and another conquered. The darkest period we had, I think, was when Washington, after several reverses, retreated to Valley Forge, where he resolved to spend the winter of 1777. Ah! I have often seen our dear commander’s careworn cheeks, as he would be conversing with a confidential officer about the condition of his poor soldiers. You have doubtless heard the story of Washington’s going to the thicket to pray. Well, it was not only true, but he used often to pray in secret for aid and comfort from God, the interposition of whose Divine Providence brought us safely through the darkest days of tribulation.

“One day, I remember well, the chilly winds whistled through the leafless trees, though the sky was cloudless and the sun shone brightly, he remained in his quarters nearly all the afternoon alone. When he came out, I noticed that his face was a shade paler than usual, and there seemed to be something on his mind of more than ordinary importance. Returning just after dusk, he dispatched an orderly to the quarters of the officer I mention who was presently in attendance. After a preliminary conversation of about half an hour, Washington, gazing upon his companion with that strange look of dignity, which he alone could command, said to the latter:

“‘I do not know whether it is owing to anxiety of my mind, or what, but this afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful female. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed, that it was some moments before I found language to inquire the cause of her presence. A second, a third, and even a fourth time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of her eyes.

“‘Presently I heard a voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn,” while at the same time my visitor extended her arm eastwardly. I now beheld a heavy white vapor at some distance rising fold upon fold. This gradually dissipated, and I looked upon a strange scene. Before me lay spread out in one vast plain all the countries of the world– Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. I saw rolling and tossing between Europe and America, the billows of the Atlantic, and between Asia and America lay the Pacific.

“‘Son of the Republic,” said the same mysterious voice as before, “look and learn.” At that moment I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel, standing, or rather floating, in the hollow air, between Europe and America. Dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand, he sprinkled some upon America with his right hand while with his left hand he cast some on Europe. Immediately a cloud raised from these countries and joined in mid-ocean. For a while it remained stationary, and then moved slowly westward, until it enveloped America in its murky folds. Sharp flashes of lightning gleamed through it at intervals, and I heard the smothered groans and cries of the American people.

“‘A second time the angel dipped water from the ocean, and sprinkled it out as before. The dark cloud was then drawn back to the ocean, in whose heaving bellows it sank from view. A third time I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” I cast my eyes upon America and beheld villages and towns and cities springing up one after another until the whole land, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, was dotted with them. Again I heard the mysterious voice say, “Son of the Republic, the end of the century cometh, look and learn.”

“‘At this the dark shadowy angel turned his face southward, and from Africa I saw an ill-omened spectre approach our land. It flitted slowly over every town and city of the latter. The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other. As I continued looking, I saw a bright angel, on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word “Union,” bearing the American flag which he placed between the divided nation, and said, “Remember ye are brethren.” Instantly, the inhabitants casting from them their weapons became friends once more, and united around the National Standard.

“‘And again I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” At this, the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia, and Africa. Then my eyes behold a fearful scene. From each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were soon joined into one. And throughout this mass, there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country, and burn the villages, towns, and cities that I beheld springing up.

“‘As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of the swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I again heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” When the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast.

“‘Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shone the word “Union,” and who bore our national flag in one hand and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were well-nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle. Again, amid the fearful noise of conflict, I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.”

“‘As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious.

“‘Then once more I beheld the villages, town and cities, springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice: “While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.” And taking from his brow the crown on which was blazoned the word “Union,” he placed it upon the Standard, while the people, kneeling down, said “Amen.”

“‘The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve, and I at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappearing, I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who in the same voice I had heard before, said, “Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted. Three great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful is the third.”

“(The comment on his word “third” is: The help against the THIRD peril comes in the shape of Divine assistance; passing which, the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land and Union.)”

“‘With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown me the birth, progress, and destiny of the UNITED STATES.”

“Such, my friends,” concluded the venerable narrator, “were the words I heard from Washington’s own lips, and America will do well to profit by them.”
